Tyreek Hill’s Status Uncertain for Monday Night Football Against Los Angeles Rams
Tyreek Hill, the star wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, remains a question mark for the team’s Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Rams due to a wrist injury. Hill missed the last two practices of the week after the injury flared up, and his status for the game is listed as questionable.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has been noncommittal about Hill’s chances of playing, stating that “if [Hill’s] body lets him, he’ll play”. NFL Network‘s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport have also indicated that Hill’s participation is a “true game-time decision”.
Despite the uncertainty, there are some positive signs. Hill traveled with the team and participated in walk-throughs on Sunday, which suggests he is making an effort to be ready for the game. However, the final decision on his availability will be made just before the game, 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
If Hill is unable to play, the Dolphins will rely on other receivers such as Jaylen Waddle, Odell Beckham Jr., and rookie Malik Washington to fill the gap.
