Tyrese Haliburton Puma Hali 1 Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton will debut his signature shoe, the Puma Hali 1, during Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Haliburton unveiled the shoe on social media ahead of the game, appearing in a vibrant “Hibiscus” colorway.

This marks Haliburton’s first venture into signature basketball footwear after signing a multi-year deal with Puma in October 2024, leaving Nike after previous endorsements. The Hali 1 is unique as it was crafted by Puma’s lead basketball designer, the renowned sneaker artist Salehe Bembury, indicating a swift collaboration that broke typical shoe development timelines.

“I’m super excited to announce that I’ve joined the Puma Family,” Haliburton said upon signing with the brand. “Puma’s vision and dedication to supporting athletes align perfectly with my goals.”

Designed with lightweight construction and the brand’s NITRO performance technology, the Hali 1 is aimed at providing optimal performance on the court. Haliburton, now one of only seven players in basketball history to have a signature shoe with Puma, is looking to make history by winning a championship while wearing his own design.

In his fifth season, Haliburton has led the Pacers through a successful playoff run, averaging impressive stats, including 21 points and 10.5 assists against the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals. One of his key moments included a buzzer-beater that secured Indiana’s comeback victory.

The Pacers will face the Thunder, who led the regular season with a record of 68-14. Haliburton’s performance in the Finals could solidify his rising status in the NBA. The Hali 1 will not be available for retail until September, but fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
