Ucla Vs Murray State College Baseball

OMAHA, NE – The College Baseball World Series continues Saturday as UCLA takes on Murray State in the pivotal Game 3 of their series. The winner will advance to face the victor of the Arkansas versus LSU game, while the loser must face the loser of that matchup.

UCLA enters the game with an impressive record of 47-16 and is riding a five-game winning streak. The Bruins have dominated their postseason games, first sweeping through the Regionals by defeating Fresno State, Arizona State, and UC Irvine, and then beating UTSA in the Super Regionals by scores of 5-2 and 7-0.

Leading UCLA’s offense is Roch Cholowsky, who has tallied 23 home runs this season and driven in 73 runs, second only to teammate Mulivai Levu’s team-leading 85 RBIs.

Murray State, holding a record of 44-15, made headlines during the NCAA Regional Tournament after upsetting Ole Miss 9-6. They also defeated Georgia Tech before facing Ole Miss again, where they lost 19-8, setting up a decisive final game. The Racers came through, winning 12-11 to advance to the Super Regionals.

In Super Regional action, Murray State faced Duke, losing Game 1 7-4 but bounced back by winning Game 2 decisively 19-9. They secured their place in the World Series by clinching Game 3 with a narrow 5-4 victory.

The Bruins will aim to continue their winning streak while the Racers, this year’s Cinderella team, strive for their first-ever World Series title. The game is set to be broadcast live on ESPN and available for streaming on Fubo.
