The event’s main event features former champion Alexander Volkanovski against rising contender Diego Lopes for the vacant title after Ilia Topuria announced his decision to vacate the belt.

UFC CEO Dana White revealed the fight card details via social media Wednesday night. Volkanovski, looking to reclaim his status, stated, “I want that belt back, and I’m ready to prove I’m still the best in the world.” Volkanovski returns to the octagon for the first time in 14 months following a knockout loss to Topuria, wherein he lost the title after successful defenses over notable fighters like Max Holloway.
