Ufc 313 Pereira Ankalaev Fight Action

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Tonight, March 8, 2025, the UFC 313 fight card will take place at T-Mobile Arena, featuring compelling matchups including light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira defending his title against the formidable Magomed Ankalaev.

In the main event, Pereira (12-2) looks to solidify his reign after winning the light heavyweight title at UFC 295, where he knocked out Jiří Procházka. His first title defense came in April at UFC 300, where he finished Jamahal Hill in the first round. “Pereira’s power has been evident throughout his career, making him a dangerous opponent in the octagon,” remarked UFC officials.

Ankalaev (19-1-1-1), who has been on an impressive 13-fight unbeaten streak following his UFC debut loss, feels ready to take on the champion. Following a split draw against Jan Błachowicz in December 2022 for the vacant title, Ankalaev has since won two bouts and rebounded strongly. “I feel sorry for whoever is gonna fight me from now going forward,” Ankalaev claimed, expressing his determination to prove himself against Pereira.

In the co-main event, Justin Gaethje (25-5) faces Rafael Fiziev (12-3) in a rematch that promises excitement. Gaethje, a fan-favorite with a reputation for thrilling fights, is looking to bounce back following his last loss to Max Holloway at UFC 300. “I’m always looking to entertain the fans, and I feel prepared to win against any opponent,” Gaethje said before the fight.

Fiziev, who has not fought since suffering a knee injury in September 2023, takes the opportunity to step in on short notice. “It was like a miracle for me to get this fight,” he remarked, eager to showcase his skills against a top contender like Gaethje.

The evening’s fight card features several exciting bouts, including Jalin Turner vs. Ignacio Bahamondes, and Amanda Lemos vs. Iasmin Lucindo. Each matchup adds to a lineup that promises to deliver action for MMA fans.

UFC 313 will kick off with early prelims at 6:30 p.m. ET, followed by prelims at 8:00 p.m. ET, and the main card starting at 10:00 p.m. ET. Fans can watch via ESPN+ PPV.

As the action unfolds at T-Mobile Arena, fight fans are in for a thrilling night of mixed martial arts.
