The excitement is building as UFC 308 is gearing up to be a major event, taking place in Abu Dhabi on October 28. UFC CEO Dana White recently announced the full main card, featuring some of the top names in mixed martial arts.

The headline fight will see the current featherweight champion Ilia Topuria defend his title against former champion Max Holloway. This matchup is particularly anticipated, especially following Topuria’s knockout victory over Alexander Volkanovski earlier this year.

In the co-main event, former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker is set to take on the rising star Khamzat Chimaev. This fight was originally scheduled for June but had to be postponed due to Chimaev falling ill.

Alongside these big bouts, the card also includes a heavyweight clash between Cyril Gane and Alexander Volkov. With both fighters ranked No. 2 and No. 3 respectively, the stakes are high as the winner could find themselves in line for a title shot.

Magomed Ankalaev will face off against Aleksandar Rakic in a light heavyweight encounter that has fans buzzing. Many are surprised Ankalaev isn’t fighting for the title after proving his skills in the octagon.

This event promises to bring high-caliber action as Topuria, Holloway, Whittaker, and Chimaev battle it out for supremacy in their divisions. With the special atmosphere of Fight Island, UFC 308 is sure to deliver unforgettable moments.
