NEW YORK, NY — The Undertaker made a surprise appearance at WWE‘s NXT Roadblock event, sending an uplifting message to the brand’s top star, Femi, ahead of his championship match. This unexpected meeting occurred backstage on March 11, where the wrestling legend expressed his admiration for Femi’s recent rise in the NXT ranks.

During the encounter, The Undertaker, known as ‘The Phenom,’ emphasized the significance of Femi’s upcoming match against TNA X-Division Champion Moose. ‘You don’t need me to remind you how important this match is,’ The Undertaker told Femi. ‘Just go out there and defend your yard.’

This edition of NXT Roadblock, held at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, marks The Undertaker’s first appearance on the show since October 2023, when he made headlines by chokeslamming Bron Breakker. The Undertaker has also been featured in WWE programming this year, including his presence during the WWE RAW premiere on Netflix in January.

Femi, who previously held the NXT North American Championship, recently captured the NXT Championship at NXT New Year’s Evil. The card for the March 11 show includes several high-stakes matches: Femi (c) will defend his NXT Championship against Moose, while NXT Women’s Champion Giulia will face Stephanie Vaquer in a title vs. title match. Additionally, a Street Fight featuring Je’Von Evans against Ethan Page has been arranged after their ongoing feud.

General Manager Ava also announced a matchup between Roxanne Perez and Jordynne Grace, stemming from a recent backstage conflict where Perez attacked Grace in retaliation for a previous altercation. This added tension only heightens anticipation for the forthcoming show.
