Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe Tickets Available Ahead of May 22 Opening

ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando has begun selling single-day tickets for its much-anticipated theme park, Epic Universe, which is set to open May 22, 2025. These tickets are now available to guests following a period of exclusive access for annual pass holders.

The release of single-day, dated tickets comes after previously only multi-day and annual pass tickets were offered. Guests can choose from a two-day ticket option that allows one day at Epic Universe and one day at Universal’s existing parks. Tickets are currently available for purchase for dates starting June 1 and extending through the end of 2025, but there has been no confirmation on the availability of tickets for the opening week.

Excitement is building as guests prepare to experience new themed areas within the park. Notably, Super Nintendo World is one of the five themed lands unveiled, featuring attractions such as Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure. Universal creative team members are eager for visitors to discover Bowser’s Castle, stating the queue offers an engaging storyline that enhances the experience.

“It’s really a lot of fun to take in that story in the queue, learn how to play the game, and then hop on the ride,” said a Universal creative team member. “We’ve tested all of the attractions, and they’re incredibly enjoyable. I want to ride that with my family.”

In addition to Super Nintendo World, Epic Universe will include other lands inspired by franchises such as How to Train Your Dragon and Harry Potter. Team members previewing the attractions reported overwhelmingly positive feedback, describing the rides’ kinetic energy and immersive design.

“We’re so excited to see more people on the ground at Universal Epic Universe,” said another creative team member. “Starting next week, family members of team members will have the chance to preview the park, marking another step closer to opening day.”

In conjunction with the ticket sales, Universal has also announced a sweepstakes offering a trip for four to experience Epic Universe on its opening day. The contest runs until June 30 and aims to generate further excitement surrounding the park’s debut.

Universal Orlando officials have indicated that Epic Universe will be one of the most immersive theme parks ever created. As the opening date approaches, avid fans and families alike are eager to step into the worlds of their favorite characters and franchises.
