In a historic performance, the USC Trojans women’s basketball team secured a 124-39 victory over California State University, Northridge (CSUN) on November 12, 2024, at the Galen Center. This win marked several significant milestones for the team and its head coach, Lindsay Gottlieb.

Lindsay Gottlieb achieved her 300th career win with this victory, a testament to her coaching prowess and the team’s strong performance. The game saw contributions from all 13 Trojans who played, highlighting the team’s depth and cohesion. USC shot 55.6 percent in the first half and maintained a dominant lead throughout the game, with key performances from players like Talia von Oelhoffen, JuJu Watkins, Rayah Marshall, and Kiki Iriafen.

The Trojans set multiple program records in this game. The 124 points scored are the most in a single game in USC women’s basketball history, surpassing the previous record of 121 points set against Southern Methodist on March 1, 1986. Additionally, the 85-point margin of victory is the largest in the program’s history, eclipsing the previous record of 75 points against UC Santa Barbara on February 27, 1981.

The team’s next game is scheduled for November 15 against Santa Clara at the Galen Center, as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the season, currently standing at 3-0 overall.

In other news, USC women’s basketball has also announced the signing of highly touted recruit Jazzy Davidson for the 2025-26 season. Davidson, a 6-foot-1 guard/forward from Oregon, is ranked as the No. 3 recruit in the nation and has been a member of Team USA‘s U18 National Teams.
