2025 Valspar Championship Golf Tournament

PALM HARBOR, Fla. — The 2025 Valspar Championship is set to begin Thursday, March 20, at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort, featuring a competitive field that includes some of golf’s biggest names.

Among the players to watch is Jordan Spieth, a three-time major champion who is returning to form after offseason surgery. Spieth, who has secured two top-10 finishes in five tournaments this season, will tee off alongside Justin Thomas and Karl Vilips at 1:23 p.m. ET.

“Winning this week would secure my place in the tournament scene for a while,” said Spieth during a pre-tournament interview. “I feel good and ready to compete against this quality field.”

The championship boasts a strong lineup, including World No. 3 Xander Schauffele, who is making his return following a disappointing finish at THE PLAYERS Championship.

Defending champion Peter Malnati is also back, looking to maintain his title and continue the trend of back-to-back champions. This year’s participants have an added incentive, as the tournament offers valuable ranking points and exemptions.

First-round tee times begin at 7:35 a.m. ET, with notable early groups set to include Danny Willett, Rico Hoey, Chandler Phillips, and Kevin Kisner, Joseph Bramlett, Patrick Fishburn, among others.

Fans can catch all the action live on Golf Channel from 2-6 p.m. ET, with additional coverage available via streaming starting at 7:30 a.m. ET.
