Victor Osimhen Galatasaray Napoli Transfer

Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker currently on a season-long loan at Galatasaray, has been making waves with his impressive performances, leading to a heated transfer saga between Galatasaray and his parent club, Napoli.

Osimhen’s recent display against Tottenham in the Europa League, where he scored a goal, has further highlighted his value. Fans and analysts alike have praised his clinical finishing and overall impact on the game.

Galatasaray, impressed by Osimhen’s form after just eight games into his loan, are reportedly preparing an offer of €50 million, including variables, to secure a permanent transfer. However, Napoli has set a non-negotiable release clause of €75 million, significantly higher than Galatasaray’s proposed offer.

Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, known for his tough negotiating stance, has warned Galatasaray that they must meet the full net fee of $82 million if they wish to keep Osimhen permanently. This stance has led to speculation that other clubs, including Premier League teams like Arsenal and Chelsea, may also be in the running for the striker.

In addition to the transfer drama, Osimhen has also been named in Nigeria‘s squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Benin and Rwanda. His return to the Super Eagles is seen as a significant boost, given his crucial role in Nigeria’s goal-scoring efforts.

Fenerbahce, another Turkish club, is also rumored to be entering the fray to frustrate Galatasaray’s plans, although it is noted that Osimhen is unlikely to join another Turkish club.
