India‘s cricketing icon Virat Kohli suffered yet another early dismissal in the ICC T20 World Cup semifinal clash against defending champions England. Kohli’s struggle continued as he was dismissed for just 9 runs, adding to his string of low scores in the tournament.

In an intense matchup, England’s captain Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to field first, setting up a challenge for India’s strong batting lineup. However, the early dismissal of Kohli left India reeling at 19 for 1 in the third over.

Following Kohli’s swift exit, the visuals from the dressing room captured a solemn moment as head coach Rahul Dravid was seen consoling the star batter. The disappointment of Kohli’s early exit weighed on India’s chances in the crucial knockout game.

Despite Kohli’s departure, the Indian team found stability in the capable hands of Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav, who managed to steer the team to 65 for 2 before rain halted play, further challenging India’s progress in the semifinal.

The playing XIs on both sides were stacked with talent, with names like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah representing India, and Phil Salt, Jonny Bairstow, and Jofra Archer showcasing England’s formidable lineup.
