The Voice Knockout Rounds Begin with Exciting Twists
LOS ANGELES, CA — The competition on The Voice is heating up as the Knockout Round kicks off tonight, November 10, with viewers eager to see who will advance. Following the Battle Rounds, coaches Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and Snoop Dogg each lead teams of eight contestants.
During the Knockouts, coaches pair their contestants to face off in head-to-head performances. Each singer gets to choose their song, but there are no steals or saves in this phase, putting immense pressure on the contestants to impress the coaches.
This season also introduces the Mic Drop Button, a new feature that allows each coach to nominate one contestant to perform at the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day. The public will decide who gets the coveted performance spot after voting among the chosen contestants.
Michael Bublé is especially focused on winning again, aiming for a three-peat after securing victories in the previous two seasons. “It is hard going up against three of the most iconic stars on the planet,” Bublé said. He emphasized that he is focused on the present, eager to achieve the three-peat.
Meanwhile, Niall Horan, who missed a season, seeks his third win for the seasons he has participated in. “I am undefeated and I would like to win a third one,” he stated, showing determination.
Reba McEntire, now in her fourth season as a coach, feels more comfortable than ever. “I know what’s happening now,” she shared, expressing confidence in her role and the talent of the contestants this year.
Snoop Dogg, the only coach yet to win, is motivated to change that narrative this season. “This time I plan on leaving with the hardware,” he said, showcasing his competitive spirit.
As the Knockouts progress, all eyes will be on the coaches as they make difficult decisions about who to advance to the Playoffs.
Tonight’s episode airs at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. It will also be available for streaming on Peacock the next day.
