Golden State Warriors Injury Report Nba March 2025

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Golden State Warriors (32-28) aim to bounce back from a recent defeat as they prepare to face the struggling Charlotte Hornets (14-45) tonight at the Spectrum Center. After a disappointing 126-119 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers that halted their five-game winning streak, the Warriors hope to reclaim their momentum against a Hornets team that has lost six straight and 15 of its last 17 games.

Injuries remain a significant concern for Golden State as they look to finish their five-game road trip on a high note. The team has marked three players on the injury report, notably Jonathan Kuminga, who will not play due to a right ankle sprain. Warriors coach Steve Kerr has indicated that Kuminga’s recovery has not progressed as quickly as hoped, and he may sit out the rest of the road trip, having been heavily icing his injury.

“It’s become abundantly clear that his ankle is still not where we want it,” said Kerr. “We hoped he would be back by now, but we will wait until he is fully ready.”

On a brighter note, Jimmy Butler III is probable to return after missing the previous game against the 76ers due to a right mid-back spasm. Since joining the Warriors, Butler has made a significant impact, and the team boasts a 7-1 record with him on the roster.

“Jimmy has played at such a high level for us, we’re thrilled to have him back,” Kerr noted. “He’s such a smart player and fits in seamlessly.”

In addition to Butler, Quinten Post has also been marked as probable, recovering from a right ankle sprain, while several Hornets players, including Josh Okogie (left hamstring strain), Brandon Miller (season-ending wrist injury), and Tre Mann (back injury) will not participate in tonight’s game.

“It’s tough for our guys,” said Hornets coach James Borrego regarding his team’s injury woes. “These are significant losses, but we have to make adjustments and fight through it.”

Miles Bridges and Seth Curry are listed as probable for the Hornets, both dealing with illnesses. The Warriors, despite their injuries, are optimistic heading into the clash. They aim to exploit the Hornets’ struggles at home, where they have only managed seven victories this season.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 4:00 p.m. PT and will be broadcasted on NBCS-BA and FDSSE. With both teams having something to prove, tonight’s matchup promises to be crucial as the playoff race heats up.
