Jimmy Butler Basketball Game Performance

San Francisco, CA – With Stephen Curry sidelined, the Golden State Warriors are counting on superstar forward Jimmy Butler to lead the team. In Game 3 of the playoffs on Saturday night, Butler played 43 minutes, scoring 33 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing out 7 assists while shooting 46% from the field.

Despite Butler’s impressive performance, the Warriors face a steep challenge. Coach Steve Kerr revealed that Butler has expressed a desire to play the entire game. According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Kerr stated, “He wants 48.” However, the coaching staff is managing Butler’s minutes to ensure he can still contribute effectively.

“We will continue to balance the need to have Jimmy out there basically every minute while trying to spot him necessary rest,” Kerr added. Butler showed his eagerness to stay on the court, saying he feels antsy on the bench.

The stakes have never been higher for the Warriors. They must extend the series while awaiting Curry’s return. If Golden State ends up in a 3-1 hole without their star, the chances of a comeback become bleak.

Game 4 against the Minnesota Timberwolves is set for Monday at 10:00 p.m. EST. For the Warriors, the goal is clear: hold on until Curry can rejoin the fight.
