Trayce Jackson Davis Nba All Star Weekend San Francisco

San Francisco, CA — Golden State Warriors forward Trayce Jackson-Davis is gearing up for his first NBA All-Star Weekend as the franchise hosts the prestigious event at Chase Center for the very first time. The celebration kicks off on February 14, featuring the cast of rising talents, including Jackson-Davis, who has quickly made a name for himself in his second NBA season.

Averaging nearly a double-double off the bench, Jackson-Davis has become a standout player, showcasing impressive skills such as poster dunks against top players like Joel Embiid and Rudy Gobert. He is also part of Chris Mullin’s “Team C” in the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars event, providing him the opportunity to face off against NBA All-Star rosters if his team performs well.

In an exclusive interview with Sports Illustrated’s Kicks On SI, Jackson-Davis discussed his preparations ahead of All-Star Weekend, which includes his footwear rotation and his commitment to athlete wellness.

Reflecting on his loyalty to Adidas, Jackson-Davis said, “Playing in Adidas for the last four years with Indiana and then signing an NIL deal with them my senior year was a good fit. Connecting with Langston Morris-Walker, Adidas’ Director of Basketball Sports Marketing, going into the draft made sense as I had already built those connections. I liked wearing their footwear and their clothes, so we signed another deal, and I’m happy.”

Jackson-Davis elaborated on his current Adidas shoe lineup, stating, “I’m wearing Adizero and sometimes I wear the Dame’s. I also have a few Antmans, but I haven’t pulled them out yet. Off the court, I usually wear Adidas slides and shell toes.”

As a product of the NCAA’s NIL era, Jackson-Davis had a unique opportunity to work with brands before going pro. He shared, “That was great. Being able to use your name, image and likeness – signing cards, getting money for that, and posting on Instagram, all while helping promote smaller businesses was really cool.”

With the All-Star festivities happening in his backyard, Jackson-Davis expressed excitement about being recognized as a rising star in the league and said, “I think it’s really cool. It’s a unique experience to call myself a rising star. It’s something I work very hard for and won’t take for granted. At the same time, I remember that it’s just basketball.”

Addressing the physical demands of the NBA season, Jackson-Davis detailed his recovery regimen: “I really just listen to my coaches. Normatec, sleep pods, cold tanks, and fluid intake are crucial for keeping my body replenished. I like using RECOVER 180, an organic hydration drink that has worked well for me.”

He praised RECOVER 180 for its organic focus and the team behind the product, stating, “They have a great vibe, and those are the type of people I want to work with. It was an easy choice.”

As the All-Star Weekend approaches, Jackson-Davis expresses particular enthusiasm for the dunk contest, stating, “Playing is definitely my number one thing I’m excited about. But seeing the dunk contest will be a lot of fun, alongside witnessing the city come alive and show what San Francisco is all about.”

The 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend begins on February 14 with the Castrol Rising Stars event and concludes with the 74th NBA All-Star Game on February 16. Fans can follow the latest updates on All-Star Weekend through Sports Illustrated’s Kicks On SI for comprehensive sneaker news from the NBA.
