WrestleMania 41: A Showdown of Legends and Rising Stars

LAS VEGAS, April 19, 2025 — The glitz and glamour of WrestleMania 41 is set to enthrall wrestling fans this weekend at Allegiant Stadium. Scheduled for April 19 and 20, this two-night extravaganza features a lineup packed with excitement, highlighted by a marquee title match between undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes and wrestling icon John Cena.
Cena recently turned heel by aligning with The Rock to attack Rhodes after winning the men’s Elimination Chamber match, securing his title shot. Rhodes, who captured the championship at WrestleMania 40 by defeating Roman Reigns, is determined to fend off Cena, who is eyeing a record 17th world title reign.
In an intriguing Night 1 main event, Reigns will face off against CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match. This rivalry has escalated over the past months through a series of heated confrontations both verbal and physical. The stakes are high as all three wrestlers seek to solidify their legacies during this landmark event.
The opening night features other significant matches, including Gunther defending his world heavyweight championship against Jey Uso. The rivalry between Gunther and Uso intensified when Gunther recently attacked Uso’s brother, Jimmy, causing further animosity. Additionally, LA Knight will defend his United States title against the rising star Jacob Fatu. Fans will also witness a showdown between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair for the WWE women’s championship.
In a late development, Rey Mysterio was originally scheduled to battle El Grande Americano but suffered an injury during SmackDown. Rey Fenix will step in to replace him.
The event promises eight championship matches and a total of 13 bouts spread across both nights, with expert commentary and live updates available for fans following along online. To ensure everyone gets the most out of the experience, the Ringer Wrestling crew invites fans to kick off WrestleMania weekend at Tom’s Watch Bar on April 19 at 1 p.m. PT, where they can mingle with fellow wrestling enthusiasts and special guests.
“WrestleMania is the culmination of countless stories and rivalries,” said Ringer Wrestling host David Shoemaker. “It’s a chance for stars to shine and new legends to begin their journeys.”
On Monday, April 21, the excitement continues with the Raw after WrestleMania, one of WWE’s biggest events of the year. WWE typically uses it to launch new storylines, highlight surprise returns, and introduce fresh faces.
As anticipation builds for this remarkable weekend in Las Vegas, wrestling fans should prepare for a thrilling lineup that promises to create unforgettable memories in the world of sports entertainment.
