Wvu Football Spring Showcase Events

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia University is set to host its annual Gold-Blue Spring Showcase on April 5, featuring a variety of entertainment and community activities at Milan Puskar Stadium. Admission is free, but fans must claim tickets in advance to attend.

The showcase kicks off at 1 p.m., with parking lots opening at 8 a.m. Prior to the game, attendees are encouraged to explore the Almost Heaven Village fan experience beginning at 10 a.m. The village will be located on the East Side of the stadium, providing a space for food vendors and entertainment.

“This year’s Spring Showcase is designed to engage our fans more than ever,” said WVU Athletic Director Shane Lyons. “We want our community to come out, enjoy the day, and support our team as we prepare for the upcoming season.”

In addition to the football showcase, the event will feature a concert area where fans can enjoy live music, as well as the opportunity to bring their own food and drinks, enhancing the communal atmosphere.

After the game, fans will have a unique chance to take photos on Mountaineer Field for 30 minutes, creating lasting memories right on the turf where their favorite players compete.

For those unable to attend in person, a special “Mountaineer GameDay Gold-Blue” pregame show will air at 10 a.m. on local Nexstar affiliates and at 11 a.m. on AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh. “Even if you can’t make it to the field, you can still join us in spirit through the broadcast,” said Lyons.

This year’s showcase will not be aired on ESPN+ or radio, focusing instead on in-person engagement and community involvement. To enter the stadium, attendees should arrive early, especially WVU students who may show valid IDs at the gate.

Fans are encouraged to secure their free tickets online and consider making a voluntary donation to WVU Medicine Children’s when claiming their tickets to support local health initiatives.

With an exciting day planned, the 2025 WVU Football Spring Showcase aims to foster Mountaineer pride and community spirit. Make sure to grab your free ticket, relax in the fan village, and enjoy this fun-filled day in Morgantown.
