WWE Elimination Chamber Preview: Exciting Matches Set for March 1, 2025
TORONTO, Ontario, Canada — WWE‘s next major premium live event, Elimination Chamber, is scheduled for March 1, 2025, at the Rogers Centre. The event promises to be pivotal in determining the challengers for WrestleMania 41, with two Elimination Chamber matches planned: one for the men and one for the women.
As of now, John Cena, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre have qualified for the men’s match, while Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, and Bianca Belair have secured spots in the women’s match. The respective matches will see participants battling for the chance to compete for championships at the upcoming WrestleMania event.
Cena’s entry into the men’s Elimination Chamber was granted based on his illustrious career, while Punk and McIntyre qualified through victorious qualifying matches. McIntyre faced Sami Zayn in the first qualification round, emerging victorious with a powerful performance. As for Morgan, her advancement was aided by disqualification tactics against Iyo Sky, while Bliss and Belair earned their slots by defeating Candice LeRae and Piper Niven, respectively.
The final spots for both matches will be determined in upcoming qualifiers, including matches featuring Damian Priest, Braun Strowman, and Jacob Fatu, along with women’s qualifiers such as Lyra Valkyria versus Bayley, Naomi versus Chelsea Green, and Raquel Rodriguez against Roxanne Perez.
“It’s exciting to see the field take shape,” said WWE representative Marilee Gallagher. “The competition getting more intense as we approach Elimination Chamber only heightens the anticipation for WrestleMania.”
In the lead-up to Elimination Chamber, the February 14 episode of WWE SmackDown will showcase a title rematch between Nia Jax and the current WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. Stratton won the title from Jax on January 3 by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract, and the upcoming match has garnered significant attention.
In addition to the title bout, the SmackDown episode will feature several qualifying matches, including a triple threat match between Priest, Strowman, and Fatu as well as another women’s qualifier featuring Naomi and Chelsea Green.
The buzz surrounding these events is palpable, with fans eagerly awaiting each match announcement and the potential surprises that could unfold. As WWE legend CM Punk prepares for his moment in the Chamber, speculation grows about his opponents and the possible ramifications of his performance.
Also, Seth Rollins is set to compete in a qualification match against Finn Balor, reviving a long-standing rivalry that dates back nearly a decade. Their past encounters have solidified them as two of the most formidable competitors in WWE history.
As the Elimination Chamber date draws near, WWE continues to build excitement and speculation around the outcomes and the marquee matchups that will develop, making this event a must-watch for wrestling fans worldwide.
