WWE Money in the Bank to Feature Surprises and New Talent

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — WWE’s annual Money in the Bank event is set for Saturday, June 7, at the Intuit Dome, with over 14,000 fans expected to attend. As one of WWE’s ‘Big Five’ events, this showcase presents an ideal stage for the company to unveil new signings and highlight emerging talent.
One of the potential newcomers is Mariah May, a former AEW Women’s World Champion. May made her WWE debut on the June 3 edition of NXT, although her name was not announced on-screen, hinting at a possible new ring name. Industry sources speculate that a vignette or a crowd appearance at Money in the Bank could serve as her official introduction.
Another likely contender is Ace Austin, who recently parted ways with TNA after a six-year tenure. The 28-year-old has established himself as a charismatic performer with significant in-ring ability. His introduction during the event, whether through a feature segment or even a crowd appearance, could position him as a major star moving forward.
The action on June 7 will focus on both the men’s and women’s divisions, where six superstars from each category compete for a Money in the Bank contract that guarantees a shot at a world title at any time. In the women’s match, former champions Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Naomi will face off against Giulia, Roxanne Perez, and Stephanie Vaquer, both call-ups from NXT.
The men’s match features Seth Rollins, the only former world champion among competitors, alongside Solo Sikoa, Andrade, Penta, LA Knight, and El Grande Americano. Additionally, fans can look forward to a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match, where champion Lyra Valkyria will defend her title against former mentor Becky Lynch, and a tag match pairing Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena with Logan Paul against World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. EDT and will be available for streaming exclusively on Peacock. With the expectations high and surprises potentially in store, Saturday’s show promises to be a pivotal moment in WWE’s ongoing narrative.
