Wwe Monday Night Raw Steel Cage Match Madison Square Garden

NEW YORK, New YorkWWE Monday Night Raw returned to Madison Square Garden on March 10, 2025, elevating the anticipation for WrestleMania 41 with a night filled with high-stakes matches and dramatic confrontations. The event featured a highly promoted steel cage match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, aimed at containing their escalating rivalry.

The card was stacked, including a tornado tag team match where Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee faced off against The New Day, and a singles bout featuring Jey Uso against Grayson Waller. AJ Styles kicked off the night, determined to confront Logan Paul amidst rising tensions.

Michael Cole announced a sell-out crowd of over 19,000 fans at Madison Square Garden, marking the venue’s 15th hosting of WWE Raw.

As the matchups unfolded, Jey Uso made a striking entrance, instantly energizing the New York crowd. The first match featured Uso and Grayson Waller, where Uso emerged victorious after hitting Waller with a spear. Despite post-match attacks from Waller and Austin Theory, Uso managed to retaliate before being subdued by Gunther, who sought to reinforce his impending championship showdown with Uso at WrestleMania 41.

The rivalry between CM Punk and Seth Rollins was further fueled by their previous encounters, culminating in tonight’s main event inside the steel cage. Both wrestlers had a history of animosity, driven by Punk’s prior victories over Rollins and the heated exchanges that followed. Punk, entering the cage with a fiery demeanor, sought to settle the score once and for all.

Meanwhile, AJ Styles was on a mission to remind audience members of his status in the WWE landscape. Styles directed his attention towards Logan Paul, provoking a crowd reaction as he called out the social media star. Despite Paul’s attempts to take center stage and assert his celebrity status, the New York audience made their preferences clear, focusing their cheers on Styles.

Logan Paul, undeterred by the crowd’s jeers, claimed he was in a league with wrestling icons The Rock and John Cena, stirring animosity by suggesting that Cody Rhodes made a poor choice by declining a career-boosting opportunity with The Rock. Paul’s dismissal of fan expectations only ignited further backlash from the audience.

In a spontaneous twist, Paul attempted to pull comedian Andrew Schulz, who was attending the event, into the fray. Schulz’s refusal to play along and insistence that he came to see AJ Styles led to a chaotic moment that saw Styles sprinting to the ring for a save, delivering a Phenomenal Forearm to Paul after a brief confrontation.

The response from the audience was electric as Styles helped Schulz recover and celebrated in the ring, momentarily overshadowing Paul’s appearance.

Another marquee attraction of the night was the match between Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and The New Day. This bout showcased high-flying maneuvers and robust team coordination, leading to Mysterio and Lee reclaiming some momentum after recent attacks from their opponents.

The atmosphere at Madison Square Garden was palpable, as each match layered more excitement ahead of WrestleMania 41. With significant performances from both veterans and rising stars, fans were left with heightened anticipation as the WWE marches toward its flagship event.
