Wwe Smackdown October 25 2024 Motor City Machine Guns

The latest episode of WWE SmackDown, held on October 25, 2024, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, was filled with intense matches and significant developments. One of the highlight matches saw the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) defeat DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) to become the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. However, the night took a dramatic turn when they immediately faced and defeated The Bloodline (Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa) to become the new Tag Team Champions.

In another highly anticipated segment, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther had a face-to-face confrontation ahead of their match at WWE Crown Jewel on November 2. The tension between the two champions was palpable, with Gunther questioning Cody’s courage and leadership. The confrontation escalated with the involvement of Ludwig Kaiser and Randy Orton, who intervened to support Cody.

The evening also featured a special guest referee match between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes, with LA Knight as the referee. This match was part of their best-of-seven series, which ended in a no contest due to LA Knight’s interference. Hayes was thrown onto the announce table by LA Knight, leading to a chaotic conclusion.

Other notable matches included Naomi defeating Candice LeRae, and the ongoing storyline with The Bloodline saw Roman Reigns appear at the end of the show, standing on the ramp as SmackDown went off the air.

Randy Orton also made a significant appearance, expressing his frustration over not being able to get a match against Kevin Owens and accusing Triple H of protecting Owens from him.
