Former Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso is leading Bayer Leverkusen in their quest to break Bayern Munich‘s Bundesliga dominance and make history.

Despite Bayern trailing by five points, Lambert acknowledges that they have the ability to narrow the gap, drawing on their past comeback against Dortmund.

However, Leverkusen’s strong position, having played Bayern twice already, puts them in a favorable position to maintain their lead and secure the Bundesliga title.
