Study Reveals Millennial Fans Willingly Skip Work For Potential England Euros Final

A recent study conducted by Censuswide on behalf of industry data platform Stocklytics has unveiled some intriguing insights into the dedication of millennial football fans towards England‘s Euros journey. As England gears up to face Denmark in a critical group stage match, the survey indicates a significant willingness among fans to take drastic measures for a potential Euros final appearance.

The study highlighted that millennials, especially those aged between 25-34, are most inclined to consider calling in sick if England progresses to the Euros final. A notable 21% of participants in this age group confirmed their intention to skip work for the big game, with an additional 16% expressing uncertainty but openness to the idea.

Contrastingly, the survey revealed a mere 1% of individuals over the age of 55 willing to take time off work for an England Euros final. Among the younger age brackets, 16% of 16-24 year olds and 15% of 35-44 year olds showed a willingness to prioritize the match over work commitments, while 5% of 45-54 year olds echoed a similar sentiment.

Overall, the survey indicated that 10% of British respondents, out of a sample group of 2,000, would be willing to skip work for an England Euros final. Interestingly, the data showed a gender disparity, with 14% of male respondents confirming their willingness compared to just 5% of female respondents.

Moreover, the study suggested that 25% of male England fans may consider calling in sick if the team reaches the Euros final, with 11% of males and 5% of females indicating potential willingness to take time off for the game.

Some fans, however, expressed a more strategic approach, with 5% of respondents planning to use annual leave for the occasion. Surprisingly, 20% of participants revealed that they do not support the England team, indicating a varied spectrum of responses to the potential event.
