Orlando City Dominates Inter Miami in 3-0 Victory

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Orlando City SC secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Inter Miami during the Florida Derby on Sunday night. Luis Muriel opened the scoring just before halftime, and Marco Pašalić added a second goal early in the second half, extending Orlando’s unbeaten streak to 11 games.
The match took place at DRV PNK Stadium, where Orlando City has now not lost since March 8, when they fell to New York City FC. Muriel’s goal came in the 43rd minute, and Pašalić followed suit with a strike in the 49th minute. A late goal from another Orlando player capped off the scoring.
Orlando City started strong and maintained pressure throughout the game. Player moments included Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi struggling to break free from defenders Robin Jansson and César Araujo.
Head Coach Oscar Pareja praised his team’s depth and determination, which have been key to their recent success. ‘We have built a culture of resilience, and it shows on the field,’ Pareja said after the game.
This win solidifies Orlando City’s position as a formidable contender in Major League Soccer this season.
