NFL Investigates Tyreek Hill Amid Domestic Violence Allegations
Miami, Florida — The NFL is intensifying its investigation into domestic violence allegations against Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Keeta Vaccaro, Hill’s estranged wife, has accused him of multiple acts of violence during their 17-month marriage.
According to sources, Vaccaro’s attorney, Evan R. Marks, is scheduled to meet with Lisa Friel, the NFL’s senior vice president for investigations, later today. Friel, a former New York City prosecutor, is known for overseeing high-profile league inquiries.
The domestic violence claims, which have been outlined in court documents filed by Vaccaro, include several serious accusations. They suggest that Hill was violent on eight occasions during their marriage. One alleged incident describes Hill shoving Vaccaro to the ground and pulling off a necklace, causing injury.
Hill, who married Vaccaro in November 2023 and separated in April 2025 after a domestic dispute, has consistently denied these allegations. His attorney, Julius B. Collins, has labeled the claims a financial “shake down” by Vaccaro and her representatives.
As the investigation continues, Hill has been allowed to play in games this season, logging 10 receptions for 149 yards over the first two games, despite the Dolphins starting the season 0-2. They are set to face the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night.
The NFL’s handling of domestic violence cases has faced scrutiny, and this investigation marks a critical moment for its disciplinary policies. If evidence supports Vaccaro’s claims, Hill may face suspension, even while legal proceedings are ongoing.
Officials have stated that a thorough review will take place before any disciplinary decisions are made. The results of Marks’ meeting with Friel could determine the next steps, including possible direct testimony from Vaccaro.
