Oscar Collazo and Gabriela Fundora Defend Titles on DAZN Tonight
LOS ANGELES, California — Oscar Collazo and Gabriela Fundora return to the ring tonight to defend their world titles during a Golden Boy championship doubleheader. The live stream starts at 8 p.m. ET on DAZN.
Collazo, who holds the unified WBA and WBO titles at 105 pounds, will face Jayson Vayson. Fundora, the undisputed flyweight champion, will defend her title against Alexas Kubicki.
This event features three more fights, showcasing Golden Boy prospects. Fans can follow updates and discussions in the comments section post.
Collazo, with a record of 12-0, claimed the WBO minimumweight belt in 2023 and has defended it successfully five times. He also won the WBA and Ring belts in 2024. The Puerto Rican fighter, known for his nine knockouts, aims to unify all titles at 105 pounds.
“My goal at 105 pounds is clear: to unify all the titles and become the first Puerto Rican in the five-belt era to be crowned undisputed champion,” said Collazo. He added, “The current IBF and WBC champions will have no choice but to face me. I’m going to do the work to make that happen.”
Vayson, his opponent, holds a record of 14-1-1 and is on a four-fight win streak. With eight knockouts, he will compete in the U.S. for the first time.
Fundora, at 16-0, and the youngest undisputed champion in boxing history, also has eight knockouts. Her challenger, Kubicki, boasts a record of 13-1 and is on a seven-fight win streak, aiming to start 2025 on a high.
