Jett Lawrence Captures Third Consecutive 450 Championship in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nevada: Jett Lawrence secured his third consecutive 450 championship title at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the final round of the SuperMotocross World Championship. Despite battling illness, Lawrence finished second in Moto 2 after winning Moto 1, earning him the overall victory.
Hunter Lawrence, recovering from illness, claimed victory in the second moto, but it wasn’t enough to surpass his brother’s points in the championship standings. “I’m a little confused in the mind right now,” Jett said after the race. “I wanted to win this, but also to see [Hunter] succeed today.” Hunter finished second overall with his Moto 2 win and a third-place finish in Moto 1, while Eli Tomac rounded out the top three overall with second and third-place finishes.
The championship battle heated up early when Jett moved through the pack, getting into second place after a slow start. He quickly gained ground on Hunter while focusing on securing enough points. As the race progressed, he made a decisive move on Tomac in the late laps, solidifying his position to win the overall championship.
Hunter led early in the race but faced pressure from Tomac and Jett, who were close behind. Eventually, Jett’s determination led him to own the title in a gripping finale that showcased the fierce competitiveness of both brothers. The atmosphere at Las Vegas Motor Speedway swelled with excitement as fans rallied behind the Lawrence brothers.
In the upcoming races, Ken Roczen and Justin Cooper also showcased impressive performances, but the spotlight remained on the Lawrence brothers as they celebrated their achievements in front of a thrilled crowd.
