Dro Fernández Fc Barcelona Debut

Barcelona, Spain – FC Barcelona’s youth talent Dro Fernández made his official debut with the first team on Sunday, September 28, 2025, under the guidance of coach Hansi Flick.

At just 17 years old, the midfielder stepped onto the pitch as a starter, filling in for Dani Olmo in a crucial match against Real Sociedad. Fernández has been training with the first team since July, displaying his skills during the Asian tour, where he scored a stunning goal against Vissel Kobe in Japan.

Before his debut, Fernández was named to the squad for the first three games of LaLiga but had yet to see any action. After a brief stint with Barcelona Atlétic, where he excelled in a match against Porreres, he faced a minor setback due to an injury that left him sidelined for two weeks.

Upon recovering, Fernández was included in the lineup for last week’s match against Oviedo but did not get the chance to play due to team strategy. Now, with the opportunity against Real Sociedad, the club is already in talks to extend his contract, which expires soon after he turns 18 in January.

Barcelona aims to secure Dro for five additional years, recognizing his potential as a key player for the future. Fans and teammates eagerly anticipate what this young star will bring to the pitch.
