Carolina Hurricanes Vs Florida Panthers Preseason

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Carolina Hurricanes are set to play their second preseason game in as many days, facing the Florida Panthers at 6:00 p.m. ET on Monday, September 29, 2025.

This matchup takes place at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. The Hurricanes, currently holding a 1-3-0 record, are in search of momentum following a recent win, while the Panthers have a 1-2-0 preseason record.

Fans can catch the game via ESPN+ and on local radio stations, 99.9 The Fan and the Hurricanes App. Please note that the online stream will begeo-restricted to viewers in the Raleigh and Florida areas.

Carolina is expected to alternate many of its regular players for this game, using a lineup of primarily AHL and prospect players. Key players such as Bradly Nadeau, Kevin Labanc, and Charles Alexis Legault will have another opportunity to showcase their skills.

“Every game is a chance to prove yourself, especially with cuts coming up,” said Nadeau, who has been consistent this preseason. Alongside him, Labanc and Nadeau have played well in previous outings.

Goaltending duties will be split between Frederik Andersen and Nikita Quapp, while several other players like Alexander Nikishin, Josiah Slavin, and Justin Robidas will also be in the lineup.

In injury news, goalie Pyotr Kochetkov skated this morning for the first time after an injury sidelined him for the preseason. Newly acquired player K’Andre Miller also returned to the ice.

The Hurricanes won’t play again until they travel to Nashville on October 4.
