Loons Prepare for Fan Appreciation Night Against Sporting Kansas City
ST. PAUL, Minnesota – Minnesota United FC gears up for a crucial clash against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, October 4, as part of their Fan Appreciation Night. The match at Allianz Field kicks off at 7:30 p.m. CT, with gates opening at 6:00 p.m.
The Loons have already secured a playoff spot, but they are eager to claim the top position in the Western Conference. Currently, they sit just two points behind leaders San Diego and Vancouver. Sporting Kansas City, on the other hand, has been eliminated from playoff contention and will look to play spoiler against their regional rivals.
In a celebratory pre-game atmosphere, fans can join the Sun Country Lawn Layover starting at 5:00 p.m. Expect a lively atmosphere with activities such as a DJ, live music from the Bluewater Kings Band, and appearances by MNUFC2 players Logan Dorsey and Curt Calov.
