MILAN, Italy — Christian Pulisic has been named Serie A‘s Player of the Month for September 2025 after a standout performance for AC Milan.

The 27-year-old forward scored three goals and provided two assists in just 147 minutes of play, helping Milan to a strong start this season. His impressive stats led to him winning a fan vote combined with individual performance data.

Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo praised Pulisic, stating, “The Rossoneri forward immediately made his mark in [Milan coach Massimo] Allegri’s new tactical set-up, confirming his great versatility and tactical intelligence. Since arriving in Serie A, he has proven to be one of the most decisive players in our league, gifted with excellent technique, great dedication, and a constant desire to improve.”

Pulisic topped the competition, beating out other notable players including former midfielder Haji Wright. As of this season, he has maintained strong performance statistics with six goals and two assists in his eight appearances.

However, Pulisic experienced a frustrating outing last Sunday, failing to score in Milan’s 0-0 draw against a rival team. He aims to rebound from that game as he prepares to lead the U.S. Men’s National Team in upcoming friendlies against Ecuador and Australia.

Meanwhile, Haji Wright is also making headlines for his impressive form. The forward for Coventry City has been a key player under coach Frank Lampard and is currently the leading scorer in the Championship, boasting nine goals in his last nine matches.

Wright expressed gratitude for Lampard’s mentorship, stating, “He’s shown me a lot of belief, and he’s gotten the best out of me.” Wright’s journey back to form comes after an Achilles injury sidelined him for much of the previous season.
