Browns RB Quinshon Judkins Out with Shoulder Injury Against Patriots
FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts – October 26: Quinshon Judkins, running back for the Cleveland Browns, has been ruled out for the remainder of the game against the New England Patriots due to a shoulder injury. The injury occurred during Sunday’s matchup at Gillette Stadium.
Judkins exited the game after struggling to find success against the Patriots’ defensive line. Before his departure, the rookie managed only 19 yards on nine carries and caught three passes for a total of -2 yards. He showed promise this season, but today’s tough matchup saw him fielded on just 2% of fantasy football teams in the $2.75 Million Fantasy Football Millionaire.
The Browns currently sit at 2-5 in the 2025 NFL season, and Judkins’ absence could affect their chances of a comeback. Head coach Kevin Stefanski has relied on the 21-year-old rookie to help stabilize the team’s offense, especially behind quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
In previous games, Judkins performed well, including a standout outing last week where he rushed for 84 yards and scored three touchdowns against the Miami Dolphins. However, today’s contest against the Patriots presented a significant challenge.
With Judkins ruled out for the rest of this game, backup running backs Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford will need to step up for the team. As Judkins’ impact has been notable this season, the Browns will look for any offensive support they can muster as they try to turn their season around.
