Warriors Seek to Break Road Skid Against Nuggets Tonight
DENVER, Colorado — The Golden State Warriors (5-4) will attempt to snap a four-game road losing streak when they face the Denver Nuggets (5-2) on November 7, 2025, at 10 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video.
The Warriors are coming off a close 121-116 loss to the Sacramento Kings. In that game, rookie Will Richard led the team with 30 points, along with seven rebounds and three assists. Despite their efforts, Golden State’s 19 turnovers translated into 30 points for Sacramento, a concern that head coach Steve Kerr highlighted in his postgame remarks.
“We just can’t afford to be careless with the ball,” Kerr said. “We need to limit our turnovers if we want to compete tonight.”
Golden State enters the matchup looking to adapt without star player Stephen Curry, who remains sidelined due to illness. Draymond Green is expected to return after nursing a rib injury, while Jimmy Butler’s status is questionable due to back issues. Moses Moody and Al Horford are also marked as questionable.
On the other side, the Nuggets are riding high after a solid 122-112 victory over the Miami Heat. In that win, Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic scored a combined 43 points, a performance they hope to replicate against the Warriors.
As the Nuggets look to build on their momentum in the NBA Cup, they will be counting on their supporting cast, including Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun, to step up. The Nuggets, currently sitting fourth in the Western Conference, rank among the top in scoring, averaging 124.6 points per game.
The Warriors will need a strong all-around effort if they want to come out on top tonight. Following their recent struggles, they hope to make a statement on the road.
The game promises to be a critical matchup for both teams in their quest for the NBA Cup.
