DeMarcus Ware Cheers on Cowboys and Discusses Quinnen Williams
On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys made a significant impression with a comeback victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, and former player DeMarcus Ware was among those impressed. Ware, known for his skills on the field, shared his thoughts on the game and the current state of the Cowboys on Blogging The Boys this week.
During the interview, Ware expressed his excitement for the team, noting his admiration for Dak Prescott on offense and Quinnen Williams on defense. ‘It’s really cool to see Quinnen potentially joining the Cowboys. We’ve talked about it, so to see it happen would be awesome,’ he said.
Ware is currently collaborating with Crown Royal, the official whiskey partner of the NFL, which is hosting the Crown Royal Rig event in Dallas ahead of the Thanksgiving Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs. In partnership with the North Texas Food Bank, they aim to provide 10,000 meals to families in need this holiday season.
Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to Lot 3 at AT&T Stadium on game day, where they can meet Ware, enjoy Crown Royal cocktails, and possibly upgrade their game-day tickets. ‘We’re going to put those items on the truck and take them to the North Texas Food Bank,’ Ware explained. ‘It’s about helping our community.’
In his discussion of the Cowboys’ recent win, Ware praised their performance in the trenches, which he believes is crucial for successful football. ‘It starts with the offensive and defensive lines. If you can control the trenches, you can control the game,’ he commented.
Ware noted that the Cowboys’ ability to stop the run and create pressure on quarterback Jalen Hurts was pivotal. ‘They were able to run the football against a very good Philadelphia defense, which set up big plays for their receivers.’ He emphasized the importance of controlling both the clock and the game.
As the Cowboys gear up for Thanksgiving, fans are excited to see both Ware and the ongoing improvements in the team, and they look forward to supporting a good cause during the festivities.
