Aew Revolution Wrestling Match Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — AEW Collision aired live on TNT from the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium on March 8, 2025, showcasing a night filled with intense matchups and moments that build anticipation for the upcoming AEW Revolution pay-per-view.

The event opened with a trios match featuring The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Hook) facing off against Starboy Charlie, Titus Alexander, and Jack Banning. The Opps showcased their dominance, with Shibata pinning Alexander after a well-executed penalty kick, further establishing their teamwork and synergy.

“Look at this teamwork,” exclaimed commentator Tony Schiavone as The Opps celebrated their victory.

Next up, the Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) faced The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) along with “Smart” Mark Sterling. The match escalated when Sterling’s interference backfired, allowing The Outrunners to execute their finisher, the Total Recall, and secure another victory.

“Truth and Turbo will take their shot tomorrow at Revolution,” noted Nigel McGuinness.

In a singles match, Harley Cameron clashed with Tatevik Hunanyan. The match was unpredictable, with Tatevik initially gaining the upper hand. However, Cameron rallied back to deliver her signature finishing move, securing a decisive victory.

Hologram faced LFI’s Dralistico in an electrifying encounter another highlight of the night. The match displayed high-flying moves and resilience, culminating with Hologram’s powerbomb that earned him a pinfall victory, pushing his win streak to an impressive 17-0.

Post-match, Hologram faced a surprise ambush from The Beast Mortos, prompting a save from Komander, illustrating the developing rivalries that are set to unfold at Revolution.

The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly) squared off against The Infantry (Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo) in a display of superior tag team strategy, ultimately sealing their win with a high-low maneuver.

In a clash of titans, Momo Watanabe took on Serena Deeb with AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné providing commentary. The match was a showcase of technical prowess, concluding with Watanabe’s inventive finishing move that left fans chanting “This is awesome.”

“That’s not going to happen to me tomorrow night. I guarantee it,” Moné remarked after the bout.

The main event featured Daniel Garcia defending his TNT Championship against Lee Moriarty, who made a strong challenge. However, Garcia countered Moriarty’s submission attempts effectively and retained his title with a devastating piledriver after a thrilling exchange of offense.

The post-match tension heightened as Shane Taylor Promotions surrounded the ring, but The Undisputed Kingdom rushed to support Garcia, setting the stage for an eight-man tag match at the Revolution pre-show.

As the night concluded, AEW foreshadowed the high-stakes Revolution event scheduled for March 9 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, promising fans a night filled with unforgettable action.
