Alabama Football Prepares for Key Matchup Against Missouri with Injury Report Updates

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Alabama football released its availability report on Friday ahead of its game against Missouri. Veteran receiver Jalen Hale is now listed as out for the match.
Hale, who is a reserve receiver and has participated in games against Florida State, ULM, Wisconsin, and Vanderbilt, has yet to make a catch this season but has been a contributor on special teams.
Overall, receiver Ryan Williams is listed as probable, a designation he has maintained since Wednesday’s report. Williams has played in four games this season, recording 21 receptions for 336 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, reserve receiver Jaylen Mbakwe and linebacker Cayden Jones are also out.
Jones has participated in five games, logging eight tackles, with one tackle for a loss. As for Mbakwe, he’s seen action in three games, with one catch for 16 yards. Both Latham and Beaman are expected to miss the remainder of the season, according to coach Kalen DeBoer.
No. 8 Alabama, holding a record of 4-1 and 2-0 in the SEC, will face No. 14 Missouri, which comes in with a perfect 5-0 record and 1-0 in the conference. The game is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. CT at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Mo.
The Crimson Tide looks to extend its winning streak to five games and win its third straight against a ranked opponent. Alabama aims to bounce back after a victory over Vanderbilt last week, having previously won on the road at Georgia. Since their season opener loss against Florida State, the Tide has climbed back into the top 10 rankings.
This highly anticipated matchup will air on ABC. Missouri’s team will start the game with the ball after Alabama won the coin toss and deferred. Alabama is focused on a strong start, as they face a Tigers team recognized for one of the top rushing attacks, led by running back Ahmad Hardy.
The latest updates will be available leading up to kickoff on Saturday morning. Alabama and Missouri are both looking to solidify their positions in the competitive SEC.
