Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh Show Chemistry and Humor During Press Tour
Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are capturing attention with their engaging chemistry in the upcoming romantic drama. Despite their on-screen bond, however, they humorously reveal challenges in remembering trivia about one another.
Appearing on a recent episode of the ‘Vanity Fair Game Show,’ Garfield and Pugh participated in a segment that tested how well they know each other. “We got along on set, but the details…” Garfield commented, acknowledging his limitations in recalling certain facts. Pugh concurred, “It doesn’t mean we need to know everything about each other.”
The pair initially struggled with the trivia, as Garfield was unable to recall Pugh’s favorite dip, which he later learned is a Greek specialty, while Pugh couldn’t remember Garfield’s go-to karaoke song, which is associated with boy bands. However, their interaction warmed up with discussions about Pugh’s creative Halloween costumes, including her impersonation of Guy Fieri, and Garfield’s anecdote about being dismissed from a job at Starbucks due to his unfamiliarity with coffee at the time.
Garfield, known for his role in the Spider-Man universe, was asked during the episode to share his favorite portrayal of the iconic superhero. “Tobey [Maguire] was my guy,” he admitted, reflecting on his days as a drama student. “I was practicing being him. But I think what Tom [Holland] has done is incredible as well. I kind of love them both equally.” He recalled that Tobey Maguire’s portrayal had a lasting impact during a critical period of his life. Garfield, alongside Maguire and Holland, appeared in the 2021 film ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ a collaboration Garfield kept confidential for months prior to its release.
The full video not only explores trivia but also humor, as viewers learn more about the playful dynamics between Garfield and Pugh, along with humorous incidents involving other actors, such as an unfortunate occurrence at Prince‘s home.
