Aryna Sabalenka Scolding Ball Girl Wuhan Open

Aryna Sabalenka, the world’s number 2 ranked tennis player, has found herself at the center of controversy following her semifinal match against Coco Gauff at the Wuhan Open. During the match, Sabalenka was booed by the crowd for her disrespectful behavior towards a ball girl.

The incident occurred when Sabalenka scolded the ball girl for being slow in handing her the balls. Her gestures and manner of returning one of the balls were widely criticized, with many viewers expressing their anger and disappointment on social media. Comments such as “Sabalenka bullying ball kids?… What a moron” and “She deserves to lose for that behaviour” highlighted the public’s disapproval of her actions.

Despite the controversy, Sabalenka won the match against Gauff and advanced to the final of the Wuhan Open, where she will face either Zheng Qinwen or Wang Xinyu. However, her behavior has sparked calls for her to be fined, with many arguing that her actions were unacceptable and set a poor example.

This is not the first time Sabalenka has struggled with crowd dynamics and her behavior on the court. Her recent inconsistencies, particularly with her serving, have also been a point of discussion among tennis enthusiasts.
