Atalanta Aim For Fifth Straight Victory Against Struggling Sassuolo

Atalanta is aiming for a fifth consecutive victory to consolidate fourth place with Charles De Ketelaere and Teun Koopmeiners against struggling Sassuolo. The match will kick off at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo at 19:45 GMT.

La Dea are emerging as strong favourites for the Champions League qualifying spot after four straight wins and have six consecutive victories on home turf. They have a game in hand to be played against leaders Juventus on Wednesday, February 28.

Ederson returns from suspension, while Ademola Lookman is rested after returning from AFCON duty with an injury, so De Ketelaere continues to take a more active attacking role. Gianluca Scamacca is benched in favour of Aleksei Miranchuk. Jose Luis Palomino is on the treatment table.

Sassuolo are in a real crisis, though a 1-1 draw with Napoli last week ended the run of three consecutive defeats. Talisman Domenico Berardi is out for another month following knee surgery, with Jeremy Toljan and Martin Erlic also injured, but Daniel Boloca and Cristian Volpato return to the bench.

Atalanta’s lineup includes: Carnesecchi; Scalvini, Djimsiti, Kolasinac; Holm, Pasalic, Ederson, Zappacosta; Koopmeiners; Miranchuk, De Ketelaere. Whereas Sassuolo’s lineup consists of: Consigli; Pedersen, Viti, Ruan Tressoldi, Doig; Henrique, Lipani; Bajrami, Thorstvedt, Laurientè; Pinamonti.
