AUBURN, Alabama — The Auburn Tigers baseball team is gearing up for the 2025 NCAA Tournament after finishing sixth in the SEC. On Monday, they received a prestigious seed in this year’s tournament, marking one of the highest placements in program history.

With this seed, Auburn has a chance to host a Super Regional for the first time. They will start regional play against the 4-seed on Friday. If they win, they will face the winner of the matchup between 2-seed North Carolina State and 3-seed Stetson on Saturday at 8 p.m. CT.

Auburn head coach emphasized the importance of preparation. “We can’t try to do more; we’ve just got to come ready to play,” he stated on Thursday. “Everybody thinks you get to a big moment and you have an out-of-body experience. We don’t necessarily believe that.”

The Tigers aim to maintain their focus and confidence, drawing on their experience from a successful season. They are determined to showcase their skills as they navigate through the tournament.

This year’s Auburn Regional will work in conjunction with the Conway Regional, hosted by No. 13 overall seed Coastal Carolina. Should the Tigers advance, they would host the winner from a group including Coastal Carolina, 2-seed Florida, 3-seed East Carolina, and 4-seed Fairfield.

For fans looking to catch the games, the full schedule for this weekend’s Auburn Regional will be available shortly. You can expect an exciting atmosphere as the Tigers aim for victory.
