Australian Open 2025 Launches AO LIVE Music Lineup
The Australian Open has unveiled its music lineup for 2025 under the revamped entertainment banner, AO LIVE. This new venture will bring an exciting schedule of live music to the Australian Open precinct over three weeks, featuring a variety of bands, solo performers, and DJs. The event will culminate in three major days of entertainment from January 23 to 25 at John Cain Arena, branded as AO LIVE Presents.
Among the international headliners for AO LIVE Presents are Benson Boone, Kaytranada, Kesha, and Armand Van Helden. “Music and live entertainment have always been central to the AO and what sets us apart from other sporting events,” stated Australian Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley. He added that AO LIVE aims to evolve the tournament’s music offerings across the precinct, enhancing the experience for attendees.
The event has been designed to cater to all musical tastes and will be accessible with a Ground Pass ticket, which covers all entertainment alongside the tennis. The success of recent high-profile music events in Melbourne has encouraged the inclusion of globally renowned acts in the AO lineup.
Tickets for AO LIVE Presents begin at $89, which includes Ground Pass access for the entire day, representing significant value for fans. The event kicks off on January 23 with Benson Boone, an American singer-songwriter who has risen to fame with over 1.9 billion global streams and recent recognition at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Kaytranada, a celebrated Grammy Award-winning Canadian DJ and producer, will perform on January 24. Known for a unique mix of house, hip-hop, and electronic music, Kaytranada has previously opened for The Weeknd‘s tour and performed at major festivals like Coachella.
The final day, coinciding with the Women’s Finals on January 25, will feature a festival-style event starting from 2 PM. It will showcase performances by pop icon Kesha and legendary DJ Armand Van Helden. Kesha, recognized for hits like “Tik Tok” and “Timber,” will return to Australia for the first time in seven years, while Armand Van Helden remains a major influence in dance music.
Each ticket for AO LIVE automatically provides a full day Ground Pass, allowing fans to enjoy a mix of world-class music, thrilling tennis, and a vibrant atmosphere unique to the Australian Open. Tickets are set to go on sale at noon on October 10.
