Adam Azim Vs Sergey Lipinets Boxing Match

LONDON, England — Boxing fans are in for a thrilling doubleheader on Saturday, February 1, 2025, as two major events unfold on both sides of the Atlantic. In London, rising star Adam Azim faces seasoned veteran Sergey Lipinets at the OVO Arena Wembley, while in Las Vegas, undefeated champions David Benavidez and David Morrell Jr. clash at the T-Mobile Arena.

The London event, headlined by Azim and Lipinets, is set to begin at 7 p.m. UK time (2 p.m. ET). Azim, known as ‘The Assassin,’ enters the ring fresh off a knockout victory over Ohara Davies. Lipinets, 35, aims to rebound from a loss to Michel Rivera nearly two years ago. The main event is expected to start around 10 p.m. UK time (5 p.m. ET).

‘I’m feeling really good,’ Azim said. ‘Lipinets has been up there with elite fighters, and I’m looking to stop him in the fight. I’m expecting him to try and use his experience over me.’ Lipinets, however, remains confident. ‘Everybody will see in the ring what happens,’ he said. ‘The ring will show who’s a good fighter and who knocks who out.’

Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, the Benavidez-Morrell showdown is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET. Benavidez, 28, last fought in June 2024, defeating Oleksandr Gvozdyk to maintain his undefeated record. Morrell, 27, is also unbeaten and coming off a decision win over Radivoje Kalajdzic. The main event is expected to start around 11 p.m. ET.

‘Morrell has been talking about me for a while and disrespecting me,’ Benavidez said. ‘I’m personally going to break his mouth. That’ll give him something to remember me by.’ Morrell, however, sees the fight as an opportunity to prove himself. ‘This is my chance to teach everyone who the real boogeyman of the light heavyweight division is,’ he said.

Both events will be available for live viewing. In the UK, the Azim-Lipinets fight will air on Sky Sports and stream on the Sky Go app. The Benavidez-Morrell fight will be available on Amazon Prime for £19.99.

Undercard fights in London include Callum Simpson vs. Elvis Ahorgah, Jeamie Tshikeva vs. Michael Webster, and Joel Kodua vs. Lloyd Germain. In Las Vegas, the undercard features Brandon Figueroa vs. Stephen Fulton, Isaac Cruz vs. Angel Fierro, and Jesus Ramos vs. Jeison Rosario.

With two high-stakes matchups and a host of supporting bouts, boxing fans worldwide are set for an unforgettable night of action.
