Barcelona Fc Football Lineup 2025

BARCELONA, Spain — FC Barcelona is ready to take on Celta Vigo in La Liga as part of their 2025-2026 season campaign.

After a disappointing 2023-2024 season, Barcelona has renewed hope under head coach Hansi Flick, who previously managed Bayern Munich. Flick has infused his leadership style into a mix of experienced talents and promising young players, reigniting excitement among fans.

The team celebrated victories in the Copa del Rey and La Liga last season, but their Champions League journey ended prematurely with a tight semifinal loss to Inter Milan. For the upcoming season, the team aims to improve their performance and secure further titles.

In the upcoming match against Celta Vigo, Barcelona has announced their starting eleven. Pau Cubarsí will return to the defense while Jules Koundé will rest. Robert Lewandowski will also make a comeback to the starting lineup, replacing Ferran Torres. The starting lineup for the match will be: Wojciech Szczęsny; Éric García, Ronald Araújo, Pau Cubarsí, Alejandro Balde; Marc Casadó, Frenkie de Jong; Lamine Yamal, Fermín López, Marcus Rashford; Robert Lewandowski.

Koundé did make the traveling squad to Vigo after recovering from a knock in Bruges, although he hadn’t practiced fully in the last two days. García, who suffered a broken nose in Bruges, will wear a protective mask while partnering with Araújo and Cubarsí in defense.

With Pedri still unavailable, Casadó will take the pivot role while De Jong assumes the functions typically expected from the Canary player. While Dani Olmo is fit to start, it is likely that Fermín will maintain his position in the attack, with Rashford on the left and Lamine on the right.

As they prepare for the match, uncertainty remains regarding Lewandowski’s role as a leading offensive presence. After coming off the bench in the last two games against Elche and Bruges, he is fully recovered and may start in place of Torres as the primary striker.
