Basketball Games Highlight Weekend Sports Schedule

The game featured impressive performances from players like Kyle Reif, Jacob Morrill, Dawson Matthews, Ayden Beach, Austin Mason, Aiden Keddy, Joe Perry, Damien Ashley, Kale Geer, and Jacob Evans. Ultimately, it was the Larries who emerged victorious with a convincing 63-32 win.

In girls’ basketball, IHC hosted General Brown in a Girls Frontier League action. The game showcased the talents of players such as Madelyn Ferris, Isabella Bombard, Abigail Bombard, and Kaelyn Tryon. Despite their efforts, the General Brown team emerged triumphant with a final score of 54-25.

On the college basketball front, St. Lawrence University hosted Ithaca in a Liberty League matchup. The game was marked by standout performances from Trey Syroka and Gavin Macaulay, both of whom played crucial roles in their team’s 72-47 win. Meanwhile, in the women’s college basketball game between Clarkson and Union, players like Bella Doyle, Elizabeth Aiossa, and Cassidy Dumont displayed their skills. Unfortunately for Clarkson, Union took home the victory with a final score of 64-48.

The action continued on the ice as well, with a women’s college hockey game at Cheel Arena. The 4th-ranked Clarkson team hosted Union and saw impressive plays from players such as Jenna Goodwin and Darcie Lappan. The final score favored Clarkson, as they secured a 3-1 victory.
