Big Ten Announces Women’s Basketball Schedule for 2025-26 Season
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference released its complete schedule for the 2025-26 women’s basketball season on Thursday, showcasing 162 matchups for all 18 member institutions. The announcement was made live on the Big Ten Network.
This season marks the seventh time in eight years that each Big Ten team will play an 18-game schedule. Each institution will compete against one opponent both at home and away while meeting 16 schools once throughout the season.
The conference schedule kicks off with three games on Saturday, Dec. 6, and continues with 12 more games on Sunday, Dec. 7. The season will take a break for the holidays and then resume on Dec. 28 with a four-game lineup.
As the conference prepares for the tournament, the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament will be held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis from March 4 to March 8. USC enters the season as the reigning Big Ten Champion, having finished last year with a 16-1 record in the conference.
This season, each team will have several critical matchups, including a strong showing from Minnesota, which features 12 games against NCAA tournament teams. Fans can find full details on the conference schedule online.
