Berlin, Germany – The BMW Berlin Marathon 2025 is set to showcase the new BMW iX3 50 xDrive, making its debut as the official lead vehicle during the event this Sunday. With approximately 80,000 runners from around 160 nations, this marathon is one of the largest in the world.

Christian Ach, head of BMW Germany, emphasized the significance of this event, stating, “We selected the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2025 for this premiere because it uniquely aligns endurance sports with technological innovation.” The marathon not only features elite athletes but also represents a celebration of diversity and cross-cultural interactions.

The newly launched BMW iX3 boasts up to 805 kilometers of range and can charge 372 kilometers in just ten minutes. This model embodies the advanced sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology, aiming to redefine vehicle performance and sustainability.

“The iX3 marks the start of a new vehicle generation and showcases a leap forward in technology, design, and connectivity,” Ach added. This marathon provides a platform where international sporting enthusiasm meets advances in mobility.

Alongside the iX3, BMW has provided a fleet of 65 vehicles, including other electric models such as the BMW iX, i5, and i4, to support the event. The presence of BMW motorcycles, produced in Berlin since 1969, adds to the city’s connection with the brand.

With its strong commitment to sustainable driving, the launch of the new iX3 during this prestigious marathon highlights BMW’s mission towards a future focused on efficiency, joy in driving, and environmental responsibility.
