Wrestling superstar John Cena is preparing to embark on a retirement tour set to commence in January 2025 and run through December of the same year. As fans across the globe speculate on who Cena might face during this farewell journey, one wrestler has openly expressed his desire to step into the ring with the WWE icon.

Bronson Reed, known for his towering presence in the wrestling world, has positioned himself as a potential challenger for Cena. In a recent conversation on the ‘Insight with Chris Van Vliet’ podcast, Reed articulated his aspirations, saying, “I’d like to work with a CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and even John Cena. I’m the perfect John Cena heel. You know, the matches he had with like Umaga and those guys, I’d be perfect against him. But whether that happens, I don’t know. That’s all just stuff I’d like to do. It’s up to WWE.”

Reed’s declaration comes amidst his ongoing feud with fellow wrestler Seth Rollins. Despite his current narrative in WWE, Reed is ambitious about potentially contending for the World Heavyweight title, acknowledging the challenges posed by another formidable heel, Gunther, who currently holds the championship.

John Cena’s upcoming retirement tour has generated significant buzz within the wrestling community. The official schedule for his tour has not been fully disclosed, but WWE has confirmed the première episode of ‘Raw’ on Netflix will feature Cena and is set for January 6, 2025.

Reed, who has rapidly gained prominence in the wrestling domain, continues to intrigue fans with his candid revelation of potential opponents and his strategic aspirations within WWE. His full interview on the ‘Insight’ podcast provides more insights into his career goals and wrestling philosophy.
