Bryce Harper Philadelphia Phillies Playoffs

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper and his wife, Kayla, have welcomed their fourth child, Hayes Three Harper, just ahead of Saturday’s playoff opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The couple shared the joyful news in a joint Instagram post on Saturday, revealing that their son was born on Thursday.

“Decided to add more chaos to Red October,” they captioned the photo, referencing the famous postseason nickname for the Phillies. Harper, a two-time National League MVP, is known for wearing No. 3 for the team.

As he prepared for Game 1 of the National League Division Series, Harper had already made headlines earlier in the year when he used a blue bat during a game in April for a gender reveal. He had ordered two custom bats from Victus Sports—a blue one for a boy and a pink one for a girl. In that game, however, he struck out using the blue bat.

The Harpers are already parents to three children: a son named Krew and two daughters, Brooklyn and Kamryn. As they expand their family, excitement surrounds Harper’s performance on the field as the Phillies aim for postseason success.
