Bryson Dechambeau With Us Open Trophy And Donald Trump

Bryson DeChambeau, the reigning US Open champion, has been making headlines both on and off the golf course. Recently, DeChambeau celebrated his US Open victory in a unique way by bringing the trophy to the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Mustangs football game against the Pittsburgh Panthers on November 2. This gesture was well-received by the fans, especially since SMU is DeChambeau’s alma mater and is currently undefeated in the ACC.

In addition to his celebratory appearance at the football game, DeChambeau was also called onto the stage by former President Donald Trump during Trump’s election-night speech in Palm Beach, Florida. Trump praised DeChambeau for his outstanding golf career and his recent US Open win, which was his second championship title. DeChambeau won the 2024 US Open Championship by beating Rory McIlroy by one shot at Pinehurst No. 2.

DeChambeau’s presence at Trump’s event was notable, especially given that he was spotted wearing a dark MAGA hat amid the US Presidential elections, drawing attention to his political affiliations.
